How did you get your website to look so good?
(Or: How did you do that? How much does that cost? Is it hard to do that?)
The truth is it’s really easy. I use a studiopress framework and theme, it didn’t cost that much and I learned how to use it over a weekend of trial and error. I feel like I got to create the look and feel of my own site without needing to learn crazy tech stuff. There’s loads of help on the site, you just uploaded the demonstration website and then change and switch things to suit yourself. Check it out Shere.
The other thing you’ll need is webhosting. I use Bluehost. I chose Bluehost because I met a Brand Designer who recommended it. Since a huge part of her job is building websites for people, I trusted her judgment. I set it up years ago and hardly changed anything since. Both in ease of use as well as the help sections on there, it’s been a good fit for me.
